A Day's Plan

The general plan for your day's stay on board is that there is no plan!

When you come onboard, everybody will sit around the chart and the skipper will inform you about the area and all the possible places to visit. After discussing everybody's preferences a general itinerary will be drawn.

However our experience has shown that if wind is very light, ideally we motor to a beach or two and depending on wind conditions we sail back to our home port of Xemxija.  But as we go along this may alter slightly, as you will get new ideas along the way!

Normally, sometime around 10.00 am, and after a short discussion over the chart about where would be nice to go for a swim or snorkel, we set sail.

Depending on sea conditions you will have a comfortable sail to a bay of your choice either towards the North West i.e. Mellieha, Comino or Gozo or towards the East i.e. Bahar ic-Caghaq or St. Julian's.

After we drop anchor, you can stay onboard, go for a bit of swimming and snorkeling, or head for the shore.

It is a heaven for kids as well, as they normally play for hours in the water, explore the sea life, or run around on the beach. This boat under motor is fast enough for water skiing; this is an other exciting option which is charged separately.

Around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, lunch is served in the cockpit. A typical Maltese platter which tuna, olives, gbejna (Maltese goat's cheese) bigilla (dip made from beans) salami, ham, kapunata (dip made from mixed vegetables) together with Maltese bread and galletti (Maltese water biscuits) and of course lunch is accompanied with wine or beer, water, soft drinks and fresh fruit as a desert* Tea and Coffee is also available.

In late afternoon it's a good time to weigh anchor, hoist the sails and head for our home port of Xemxija

We'll be there just before sunset around 6 or 7 o'clock which will give you plenty of time to disembark "Marzipan".
